Bud has been without a family since age six. What type of survival skills does he learn at the home?
Bud learns that he has to fend for himself and he has no family, so he needs to be very independent and brave. I think that these are the skills because the home is a place that Bud can call home, because he has been their so many times, sent back from foster homes and being lonely and trying to find his father. Bud needs to be firm and brave

I agree on that because he is always moving around on the book.But the only thing that you didn't put that i think it is true is that their dad and mom told him to always be respectful and kind
